South Sulawesi Youth Congress 2025

The 2025 South Sulawesi Youth Conference brought together a wide range of representatives at the Provincial Hall. Participants included high school students, academics, and members of creative organizations. The forum was intentionally inclusive, featuring participants from NGOs and the disability community. This collective group aimed to turn fresh ideas into meaningful social action.

Participants engaged in systematic workshops to address five major public concerns. These topics included environmental conservation, the creative economy, and youth leadership. Digital literacy and the protection of children from violence were also central to the debate. Every session focused on analyzing data to propose realistic, collaborative solutions.

Through a democratic voting process, the congress finalized three priority issues for the upcoming year. Sustainable Waste Management received the most support, followed by Digital Literacy Transformation. Child Protection from violence was confirmed as the third critical priority. These choices align with the Provincial Government’s 2025–2029 development goals.

The conference concluded with a formal commitment to implement these plans through the 2026 Public Participation Wikithon. A network of “Local Leaders” will serve as a bridge between youth voices and policy implementation. Planned activities include school-based waste campaigns and the development of digital ethics programs. This roadmap ensures that youth-led initiatives create a lasting social impact.
