If you could undertake real action, what program would you design to empower Balinese women so they can meaningfully contribute to their surrounding community?

This practical guide is designed to help participants effectively structure their 3 to 4-paragraph essay according to the requirements:
1. Recognizing the Problem and Need
Explain why women’s participation and leadership in your community are still suboptimal. Identify the main problem, the most affected group, and why this issue is important.
2. Your Project Idea and Goal
Describe the project idea you propose. What is its main goal? What activities will you conduct, and what tangible outcomes do you expect?
3. Strategy and Implementation Steps
Outline the concrete steps for the project to run. Include phases such as preparation, execution, evaluation, and an estimated timeline.
4. Collaboration and Required Support
Specify the parties you can collaborate with, such as schools, communities, or the government. Also, explain the type of support needed, like facilities, mentoring, or funding.
5. Project Impact and Sustainability
Explain the positive impact you anticipate after the project is implemented, for women, the community, and yourself. Add ideas for sustainability so the project does not stop after a single activity.
6. Spirit of Change (1 Closing Motivational Sentence)
Write one powerful sentence that encapsulates your drive to strengthen women’s leadership. This can be a slogan or an inspiring message from your project.
The top ten entries from the university/general category and the SMA/SMK/equivalent category will be selected and provided with mentorship to detail their ideas into an Implementation Plan. The final judging will be based on this developed plan from the incubation phase.
The Implementation Plan will be judged based on the following criteria:
Relevance of Solution to the Problem (20%)
The action plan addresses the main issue of participation, women’s leadership, and youth challenges. The problem is clear and relevant to the local context.
Clarity and Detail of Plan (20%)
The plan is written sequentially, logically, and in detail. It clearly explains who does what, when, where, and how.
Creativity and Innovation (15%)
The idea and execution method demonstrate a unique, fresh, or different approach from commonly used solutions.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Involvement (10%)
The plan actively and measurably involves communities, youth groups, schools, organizations, or other partners.
Potential Impact and Sustainability (30%)
The action plan has the potential to yield a tangible, lasting impact after the competition period. It includes a strategy for continuity.
Support of Facts and Data (5%)
The plan is supported by relevant evidence or data (observation results, news, social media, interviews, etc.).
The committee reserves the right to disqualify participants before, during, or after the judging if they are found to have committed fraud.
By participating in this competition, participants grant permission to the committee to use the submitted works in various non-commercial media and activities, without transferring copyright. The participant’s name will always be credited as the owner of the work.
